Lil Kim's Daughter, Royal Reign, Makes Red Carpet Debut

Work it, baby! Lil’ Kim brought her 2-year-old daughter, Royal Reign, as her date to VH1 Hip Hop Honors: All Hail the Queens in New York City on Monday, July 11. The “Magic Stick” rapper, 42, was honored at the event, but it was her tiny tot’s red carpet debut that stole the show.

While Lil’ Kim rocked a long-sleeved velvet mini paired with thigh-high boots and fishnets, her gorgeous little girl sparkled in a yellow and white dress and leggings set teamed with gold accessories.

The proud mom held Royal Reign as she waved to photographers. Lil’ Kim also took her stylish toddler’s hand as the adorable mother-daughter duo struck a few poses for a set of heart-melting snapshots.

Later, the “Crush on You” hitmaker — who was recognized for her achievements as a groundbreaking female MC on Monday night — gave Royal Reign (whom she shares with ex Mr. Papers) a shout-out in her acceptance speech.

“My beautiful baby, Royal Reign, is in the building,” she said with a big smile. “My beautiful baby!” The camera then panned to the impossibly cute kid, who was watching her mama’s big moment from the audience at Manhattan’s Lincoln Center.

During her oration, Lil’ Kim also took a moment to speak out about the recent deaths of Baton Rouge, Louisiana’s Alton Sterling and Falcon Heights, Minnesota’s Philando Castile, who were both shot and killed by police in the last two weeks.

“I just want to say that brutality has gotten to an all-time high,” the Grammy winner told the crowd. “It is horrible. We as a people can stick together and do something about that. Speak our voice and our opinion and really just support the community.”
